Today is World Water Day – as it is on 22 March every year. World Water Day is an annual United Nations Observance that celebrates water and raises awareness of the 2 billion people currently living without access to safe water. A core focus of World Water Day is to inspire action towards Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: water and sanitation for all by 2030.

Plantwork Systems offers a unique combination of environmental passion, technological innovation and unrivalled experience, enabling us to develop and deliver ground-breaking sustainable treatment solutions for the wastewater and commercial sectors. These solutions help to improve the quality of water being returned to our natural world, using sustainable technology such as Biological Nutrient Removal.

This year World Water Day focuses on groundwater – what we do on the surface matters underground. Plantwork Systems is working closely with partners and the microbiology faculty at the University of Southampton to further improve nutrient removal and reduce pollution and its environmental impact: Breaking New Ground in Wastewater Treatment (plantworksystems.com)
